Nordisk Bergteknik
Nordisk Bergteknik extends framework agreement within the service area mining and prospect drilling
The agreement concerns production drilling at the Aitik open-pit copper mine and the duration of the original framework agreement signed in 2020 was five years with an option for a two-year extension. After renegotiations, a new agreement has been signed, starting in 2024 with a duration of three years and a possible extension of another three years. The new agreement is valued at over SEK 500 million for the period up to the end of 2029.
- We look forward to continuing our close cooperation with Boliden for several more years to come. The mining industry has evolved to become a significant part of our business and it also plays an important role in enabling the green transition. With our modern fleet, extensive experience, and broad competence in rock handling and foundation solutions, we are often the most attractive and long-term partner, says Andreas Christoffersson, CEO of Nordisk Bergteknik AB.
The service area of mining and prospect drilling has expanded in recent years through new customers and continues to strengthen its position through more major and long-term contracts that contribute to high utilization and stability. Currently, the service area accounts for almost 15% of the Group's total revenues.
