NIMBUS GROUP BROADENS ITS MARKET PRESENCE IN NORWAY THROUGH ACQUISITION OF DEALERSHIP RIGHTS FROM GRESSVIK MARINA IN ØSTFOLD

Nimbus Group AB (publ) has acquired the dealership rights for boats under the Nimbus and Paragon brands from Gressvik Marina AS in Østfold, Norway. The acquisition enables Nimbus Group to broaden its offering of the Group’s various brands and strengthen its position in the attractive Norwegian market.

Nimbus Group has a defined growth strategy, according to which acquisitions of manufacturers and dealers are central components. “If we are to continue growing, we need to establish a market presence in the most attractive markets and in the most attractive boat districts. Through last year’s acquisition of Herholdt Andersen, we strengthened our position in the important district around Oslofjorden and Vestfold, and this acquisition provides us with a stronger position in Østfold,” says Jan-Erik Lindström, CEO of Nimbus Group. Gressvik Marina has since the start in 1972 built a strong position in the region and has been a successful Nimbus dealer since 1986. As of September 1, Gressvik Marina will operate under the management of the Norwegian powerboat dealer Herholdt Andersen, which Nimbus Group acquired in 2022.
