Netel signs new framework agreement and expands cooperation with Glitre Nett in Norway
Netel's subsidiary Nett-Tjenester has signed a new framework agreement with the Norwegian electricity company Glitre Nett Sør. The agreement expands Netel’s geographical presence in southern Norway.
The agreement with Glitre Nett includes project planning, ground and construction work, as well as high-voltage installations. As a result of the agreement, Netel has established a new organisation in Mandal, in Agder County. The framework agreement has a potential duration of four years and lays the foundation for Netel's expansion in Agder.
On March 24 this year, Netel announced its first agreement with Glitre Nett, covering the expansion of a transformer station in Spikkestad, southwest of Oslo, with a contract value of approximately MSEK 50.
“We are very pleased to expand our cooperation with Glitre Nett,” says Jeanette Reuterskiöld, CEO and President of Netel. “This collaboration is proof of the strength of our offering and our ability to deliver on our growth strategy.”
Glitre Nett owns and maintains the electricity grid in Agder, Buskerud, and Hadeland in southern Norway, serving approximately 320,000 customers. To meet the electrification of society and ensure a stable and efficient power supply, Glitre Nett is investing in capacity and modernisation of the electricity grid.
