Neobo divests retail property in Falun
Neobo Fastigheter AB has divested a retail property in Falun at an underlying property value of SEK 75 m, which is 18% over the most recent external valuation conducted. Following the transaction, Neobo leaves the municipality of Falun.
The transaction consists of the retail property Tegelbruket 4 in Falun, with a total leasable area of 8,146 sq.m and Willys as the largest tenant.
The buyer is Lantmännen Handelsfastigheter AB and closing will take place in August 2024. A deduction for deferred tax of 10,3 percent, equivalent to SEK 3 m, was included in the transaction.
- We continue to optimize Neobo’s property portfolio by divesting a solitary commercial property in Falun. The divestment means we can now leave the municipality and free up equity to re-invest in strategic properties going forward, says Ylva Sarby Westman, CEO of Neobo.
The transaction gives a positive result of approximately SEK 10 m.
