NCC's contract includes construction of a new two-kilometer transfer pipeline as well as the construction and remodeling at the Kärreberg water treatment plant. The contract also includes demolishing parts of the old waterworks.

"NCC has extensive experience in and has completed many similar projects for water treatment, and for advanced water and wastewater plants. We look forward to working with Vivab to build a robust and reliable facility that will future-proof Falkenberg Municipality's water supply," says Anders Holmqvist, Production Manager at NCC Infrastructure. 

The project will commence in the third quarter of 2026 and is scheduled for completion in autumn 2029. The order value is approximately SEK 220 million and will be registered in the NCC Infrastructure business area in the second quarter of 2026.
