“NCC has broad-based expertise in the area, making it an ideal partner in our efforts to re-establish the Bergslagen Artillery Regiment,” says Malin Berglind, Project Manager at the Swedish Fortifications Agency.

NCC is to construct a new vehicle maintenance and storage area, with buildings for training and services as well as new infrastructure for water and wastewater, electricity and fiber networks.

“NCC and the Swedish Fortifications Agency have collaborated on several projects, and we appreciate the continued confidence. We look forward to playing a part in strengthening Sweden’s total defense,” says Kenneth Nilsson, Head of NCC Infrastructure. 

Work has commenced and will be finished in stages with completion scheduled for summer 2026. The order will be registered in the NCC Infrastructure business area in the first quarter of 2025 and the order value is approximately SEK 300 million.
