Forbrugsforeningen: An institution in Denmark Forbrugsforeningen was founded on 20 April 1886 as "Forbrugsforeningen for Officials- and Commissioned Officers and Doctors" and today has over 230,000 members. As part of the cooperative movement, it is the only one of its kind that still exists after 139 years. The association collaborates with 4,000 restaurants, shops and webshops in Denmark, where members earn bonuses in the form of real money on every purchase.

Forbrugsforeningen is widely recognized as Denmark's leading loyalty program and has won the prestigious award "Denmark's best loyalty club" from CBS (Copenhagen Business School) in 2015, 2016 and 2023. The future of loyalty: From discount stamps to digital rewards With the new partnership, Forbrugsforeningen will take the next step into the future by implementing Loyal Solutions' market-leading LoyalTfacts technology. Whereas in 1886 members had to pick up discount stamps in the store, place them in a booklet and submit the booklet to Forbrugsforeningen, they will soon be able to earn real-time rewards by paying with a watch, a ring, a phone or any other payment instrument.
