Lifco acquires MCV in Italy

Lifco has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the Italian company Manifattura Catene Viganò M.C.V. S.p.A. The company is a niche manufacturer of chains and links for conveyors and transmissions.

In 2023, MCV reported net sales of approximately EUR 22.9 million. The company is based in Missaglia, Italy and has 60 employees. MCV will be consolidated in the Business Area Systems Solutions, division Transportation Products. Consolidation is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The acquisition will not have any significant effect on Lifco’s earnings or financial position in current financial year.
