Lifco acquires Italgears in the Republic of San Marino

Lifco has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the San Marino based company Italgears S.p.A. The company is a niche manufacturer of traction systems for elevators.

In 2024, Italgears reported net sales of approximately EUR 13.8 million. The company is based in Serravalle, Republic of San Marino and has 17 employees. Italgears will be consolidated in the Business Area Systems Solution, division Infrastructure Products.

Consolidation is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.

The acquisition will not have any significant effect on Lifco’s earnings or financial position in the current financial year.
