Lifco acquires GMT Equipment in the Netherlands

Lifco has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the Dutch company GMT Equipment B.V. The company is a manufacturer of grapple saws for tree cutting and tree removal.

In 2023, GMT Equipment reported net sales of approximately EUR 5.5 million. The company is based in Vragender, the Netherlands and has eleven employees. GMT Equipment will be consolidated in the Business Area Demolition & Tools. Consolidation is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The acquisition will not have any significant effect on Lifco’s earnings or financial position in the current financial year.
