Kebni closes down the operations in its subsidiary Satmission AB

Kebni is closing down the operations in its subsidiary Satmission AB to refocus resources on high potential product areas.

On September 27, the Board of Kebni AB (publ) made the strategic decision to explore the alternative to close down the subsidiary Satmission AB, due to low capacity utilization in the company and a declining market for Drive-away satcom terminals.

The union negotiations have now been concluded and the union had no objections to the closure. Therefore the Board is now closing down the operations in Satmission AB. The company’s five employees will be laid off as of November 1st 2024.

Financial effects
The closure of Satmission AB will result in approximately 4 MSEK in one-time costs in Q3 2024. At the same time, monthly ongoing costs will decrease by 600 000 SEK per month.
