The order, which follows lengthy and rigorous product testing against military standards and requirements, reinforces INVISIO’s position as the DoD’s high-noise headset provider.

The systems, comprising Racal Acoustics RA5001 RAPTOR and RA4000 Magna™ high-noise headsets, will be used in combat vehicles.

The RA4000 Magna™ digital headset is Racal Acoustics’ most recently developed product. It offers market-leading hearing protection, communication capability and situational awareness. The RA4000 Magna™ has modular, customizable and upgradeable features and accessories that make it possible to meet specific customer requirements while also prolonging product life.

The battle-proven, lightweight RA5001 Raptor headset delivers a combination of passive and active noise reduction (ANR) for excellent speech intelligibility and hearing protection, all within a slim profile compatible with helmets.
