Fasadgruppen to renovate the brick façade of well-known property in central Stockholm

Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary Valvet Fasad has signed a contract with property owner Probitas to carry out a renovation of parts of the brick façade on the Provisorn block in central Stockholm.

The Provisorn block was built in 1973-74 and houses the Immanuel Church, Hotel Birger Jarl and Jarlahuset with several office premises. The property has the highest building classification from the Stockholm City Museum, meaning it has particularly high cultural-historical values. Valvet will lay new bricks on parts of the façade between May 2023 and January 2024.

Stefan Karlsson, CEO of Valvet Fasad said: “Provisorn is a fantastic and well-known property that houses a wide range of activities in the city centre. We are proud to have been trusted by Probitas to carefully renovate parts of the brick façade.”
