Fasadgruppen to carry out exterior renovation of historic school building in Stockholm
Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary STARK Fasadrenovering has signed a contract with the National Property Board (SFV) for a complete exterior renovation of Manillaskolan on Djurgården in Stockholm.
Manillaskolan was designed by architect Johan Adolf Hawerman in a classicist style and built between 1856-64. The current tenant, Campus Manilla, runs a primary and upper secondary school for around 800 pupils. STARK Fasadrenovering has been assigned to renovate the façades and to replace the entire roof. A number of other Fasadgruppen subsidiaries will also participate in the project. The work will start in spring 2024 and last for three years. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 48 million.
