Fasadgruppen to carry out exterior renovation of elementary school in central Stockholm

Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary STARK Fasadrenovering has signed a contract with municipal school property company SISAB for a complete exterior renovation of Östermalmsskolan in Stockholm.

Östermalmsskolan is a public elementary school located in the Östermalm district in Stockholm. The school building was designed by architect David Dahl and constructed in 1938. STARK Fasadrenovering has been assigned to renovate the façade, roof and windows. The work will be carried out between June 2023 and January 2024 and the order value amounts to approximately SEK 12.5 million.

Stefan Karlsson, CEO of STARK Fasadrenovering said: “We are pleased to have been entrusted by SISAB to renovate Östermalmsskolan, a building with high historical value where thousands of Stockholm residents have attended school.”
