Fasadgruppen to carry out extensive energy renovation in Biskopsgården in Gothenburg
Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary Johns Bygg & Fasad AB has signed a contract with housing company Willhem for an exterior renovation with energy efficiency measures on two properties in Biskopsgården in Gothenburg.
Willhem is owned by Första AP-fonden (AP1) and manages and develops rental apartments in growth areas in Sweden. The properties in question were built in the 1950s and remodelled in the 1980s. They are now in need of modernisation. The assignment is carried out as a partnering project and includes new façades with additional insulation, window replacements and balcony renovation. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 65 million.
Enis Brahimi, CEO of Johns Bygg & Fasad said: “We are proud to carry out this extensive renovation for Willhem. With the planned measures, the properties will achieve both higher energy performance and a better living environment.”
