Fasadgruppen acquires the bankruptcy estate of balcony specialist Teknova
Fasadgruppen's subsidiary Alnova has entered into an agreement to acquire the bankruptcy estate of Teknova Byggsystem AB ("Teknova"), a supplier of balcony railings and glazing. Through the acquisition, Alnova strengthens its production capacity.
Teknova has been one of Alnova’s main competitors with a similar offering in balcony railings, glazing and other related products. The acquisition includes Teknova's entire production facility in Vadstena. In the financial year 2022, Teknova’s revenues amounted to approximately SEK 118 million.
Johan Claesson, Business Area Manager Fasadgruppen SouthWest, said: “In the current market environment, Fasadgruppen is ready to take advantage of the opportunities that arise to effectively grow our business. Through the acquisition of Teknova's bankruptcy estate, we strengthen Alnova's production capacity and market exposure at a stroke."
Fasadgruppen is using existing cash to finance the acquisition.
