EYEON GROUP AB (publ): Acquisition of Safestate Enables Significant Synergies
April 28, the acquisition of Safestate AB was completed in accordance with previously communicated terms. The acquisition marks a strategic step in Eyeon Group's ambition to strengthen its market position within cyber security. Through the acquisition, efficiency improvements are expected to generate annual cost savings of approximately SEK 8 million, contributing to an EBITDA margin of approximately 50% for the Group as a whole.
As a result of the merger, significant cost synergies have been identified, which are expected to be gradually realized over the next 12 months. The main synergies are expected to arise through:
- More efficient data collection and data management. By integrating Safestate's digital infrastructure and products with Eyeon Group's infrastructure for dark web data collection, Safestate will no longer need to purchase data from third parties.
- More efficient use of technical expertise
- Streamlining of shared functions, including administration, PR, and support services
The total cost synergies are estimated at approximately SEK 8 million annually. Implementation of the integration plan will begin immediately, with a strong focus on efficiency and growth. The expected synergies are anticipated to have a clear and positive impact on the Group's profitability, with the EBITDA margin projected to reach approximately 50%.
