Episurf Medical (NASDAQ: EPIS B) has received another Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent, entitled "Customization of individualized implant", relates to a system for customizing an implant for treatment of damage in an anatomical joint of a patient.

"This addresses the process for, in an efficient way, creating optimized, individualized implants for each patient's joint damage, based on Episurf Medical's medical imaging technology. We appreciate this first approval in this patent family", comments Katarina Flodström, COO, Episurf Medical.
