ESGFIRE portfolio company Ekobot today (27/10 2023) announced some exiting news.
Telia together with EKOBOT have introduced "5G-löken", a yellow onion where the weed control is performed using an autonomous robot from Ekobot instead of traditional pesticides containing harmful chemicals. This gives a 6 % higher yield on the crop and also a longer durability. According to Gustav Leonhardt, winner of the 2021 Chef of the Year and Sweden's representative at the 2024 Bocuse d'Or , the onions also taste alot better than regular onions.
