DUG Foodtech obtains patent for their plant-based meat analogue in Sweden

The patent portfolio of DUG Foodtech has been strengthened by the decision of the Swedish intellectual Property Office relating to a unique methodology to produce a vegan meat alternative. Through the unique methodology a meat analogue with improved texture and feeling is obtained.

“We note with satisfaction that a patent for our unique meat analogue will be granted on the Swedish market”, says Professor Eva Tornberg, founder of DUG Foodtech AB.

DUG Foodtech AB also has a filed PCT application for above-described invention regarding the vegan meat analogue with the possibility for future patent protection on further markets.
