BIG Travel and Creturner have agreed on the provision of climate services. The solution that attracted BIG Travel was being able to offer its customers a real climate benefit with digital traceability. Creturner has an active industrial solution for climate offset, which means that a carbon sink is created quickly and is digitally traceable.

Climate action has traditionally consisted of growing new trees, which is an important measure albeit uncertain in terms of its ability to quantify real impact over a longer time perspective. Creturner implements an active climate offset that is quick and permanent with direct impacts that can compensate for climate footprints. Creturner converts biomass, which would otherwise be released into the atmosphere, into biochar which is then permanently stored. The method is called bio-CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) and involves the capture and storage of carbon and thus carbon dioxide.

Creturner's commercial facility for the industrial process of sequestering carbon in its natural form, thereby reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, is located in Smedjebacken, Dalarna, Sweden.
Creturner offers its customers to offset their carbon footprint quickly, efficiently and permanently. Regulations and sustainability trends are pushing companies to reduce their carbon footprint and offset the emissions they cause. Creturner offers an easy-to-understand product that accurately accounts for the effect of carbon offsetting. An accurate weight of carbon sequestered is reported at the time of purchase.

The plant in Smedjebacken is prepared for easy on-site expansion. In addition, the operation is scalable, which means that expansion at other locations can be implemented. The expansion model has no real upper limit. Creturner already has ongoing carbon offset agreements with a number of companies and is in broad discussions with potential future customers.

Creturner is a subsidiary of Xpecunia Nordic AB under name change to Creturner Group AB.
Creturner International AB offers corporate customers an effective and permanent method to offset their operations. The method is based on Bio-CSS (Carbon Capture and Storage), which involves converting residual biomass into the element carbon and storing it to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Corporate customers of Creturner can then purchase carbon offsets in the same way as they traditionally offset climate change, for example by planting trees.
