Cavotec signs EUR 5 million MoorMaster order for container terminal in Morocco

Cavotec has signed a EUR 5 million contract with a leading port operator to supply a MoorMaster® automated vacuum mooring system to a container terminal in Morocco. Delivery is scheduled for September 2026 and includes a two-year service level agreement.

The system keeps vessels stable during operations, enabling more efficient ship-to-shore crane operations and reducing mooring time - cutting turnaround times and enhancing overall terminal productivity.

The terminal already operates Cavotec systems, including motorised cable reels, Panzerbelt cable protection systems, and power connectors.

“As our second MoorMaster installation in Morocco, this agreement confirms Cavotec’s leadership in innovative port solutions and further strengthens our collaboration with one of the region’s most forward-thinking terminal operators,” says David Pagels, CEO of Cavotec.

This latest project reinforces Cavotec’s position as a key technology partner to the global port industry and reflects demand for automated mooring solutions in strategic logistics hubs worldwide.
