“I am thrilled to announce that we have signed a JCDA with one of the top 10 global wine producers. This agreement validates that a leading global player in the F&B space, generating large amounts of hemicellulose side-streams currently sold as animal feed, is interested in the NutraCycle onsite upcycling and fortification concept and its potential to improve their bottom line. This JCDA slated to start in Q4 2025 will be carried out over a 6-month period and will include formulation verification with one or several F&B CPG companies and engineering specification / investment case development. At the conclusion of the JCDA, a decision will be made to construct a NutraCycle process through a multi party license and operator agreement.

The customer in question will pay 19,500 USD for the entire project, further demonstrating Carbiotix commitment to cost-effectively developing upcycling and fortification opportunities between side-stream owners and F&B CPG companies. I look forward to starting this JCDA project and quickly moving forward to the stage of making a decision on constructing a NutraCycle process and allowing the customer in question to capture more value from their side-stream as a complementary fortification extract and help create healthier, more profitable and sustainable processed F&B products.”
