Katholisches Klinikum Bochum gGmbH – St. Josef Hospital in Bochum, Germany, has decided to use the C-RAD SGRT solution in its modernised radiotherapy.

The order, which has a value, before taxes, of approximately 10 MSEK for C-RAD, includes the complete software suite, including modules for Respiratory Gating, Patient Setup & Positioning, and Motion Monitoring. A service contract for several systems is also included. Delivery and installation are expected to commence before the end of the year.

“I am pleased that C-RAD is coming to the Katholisches Klinikum Bochum as a strong partner for us and our patients. With breath-guided radiation, we will be able to guarantee an important oncological therapy at a high level, especially in the area of stereotactic radiation of the lung, liver and abdomen, and will also be able to further improve the treatment of breast cancer patients” explains Prof. Dr. Christian Baues, Director of the Clinic for Radiotherapy at St. Josef Hospital. Prof. Baues holds the chair of Radiotherapy at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB).

"Working alongside the Katholisches Klinikum Bochum team to implement surface tracking is an exciting endeavor," says Cecilia de Leeuw, CEO and President of C-RAD AB. "This collaboration holds the promise of forging a stronger partnership and enhancing the standard of care in advanced radiation therapy."
