Bravida strengthens its position in industrial piping in Borlänge
Contub AB was founded in 1998 and provides installation and service relating to industrial pipework and mechanical installations, design and the manufacturing of tools for pipe assembly for industrial and infrastructure purposes. The company is located in Borlänge and its customer base includes companies in the pulp and paper industry, data centres and energy facilities.
“It feels great to welcome Contub to Bravida. This acquisition strengthens our geographical presence, which gives us greater opportunities to achieve synergies, exchange expertise and provide a stronger customer offering,” comments Daniel Ytterbom, Regional Manager for Region Industry at Bravida.
Jonas Ehrling, CEO and co-owner of Contub AB, will remain with the business at Bravida. He comments:

The acquisition is subject to approval by the Swedish Competition Authority. Bravida will take over as the new owner once approval has been granted.
