Bergman & Beving

Bergman & Beving has today acquired all shares of Tema Norge AS. Tema Norge is a leading player in Norway in orbital welding and mechanized welding technology. The company has an annual revenue of approximately MNOK 45 with good profitability. Tema Norge is located in Stavanger and has 8 full-time employees.

“Tema Norge has a leading position in its niche in Norway, with a particularly strong position in the offshore industry. Through the acquisition, we increase our presence in the growing niche of automated welding solutions where Tema Norge, together with our company Retco, becomes a strong player in the Nordic market”, says Oscar Fredell, Head of Division Tools & Consumables.

“We have a very good feeling about Bergman & Beving as new owner, given the Group's solid industrial tradition and long-term approach. We believe the Group will form a good basis for continuing to develop Tema Norge", says former main owner Lars-Erik Dyrnes, who together with the two other partners will continue in their current roles in the company.

Tema Norge will become part of the division Tools & Consumables and the closing takes effect immediately. The acquisition is expected to have a marginal positive affect on Bergman & Beving´s earnings per share during the current fiscal year.
