Bergman & Beving acquires Labsense

Bergman & Beving has today acquired all shares in Labsense Oy. The company is a distributor for several global leading suppliers of technical laboratory equipment, which are sold to both public and private sectors in Finland. The company is located in Nokia, Finland, has 6 employees and a turnover of approximately MEUR 3, with good profitability.

“The acquisition of Labsense enables us to take a step into the interesting niche of laboratory equipment. Labsense has a high level of technical expertise and complement its product offerings with service and maintenance, which creates strong customer loyalty”, says Oscar Fredell, Head of Division Industrial Equipment.

”I feel confident to hand over the ownership to Bergman & Beving. Together, we will continue to develop the business with the aim to strengthen the position in Finland, and further expand our strong offerings also into the other Nordic countries”, says former majority owner Tero Korkola, who will continue as CEO in the company.

Labsense will be part of the Division Industrial Equipment and closing will take place with immediate effect. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Bergman & Beving’s earnings per share during the current financial year.
