Alligo strengthens the logistics centre in Örebro through acquisition of neighbouring land - planned expansion in 2027

Alligo has decided to acquire land neighbouring the Group’s logistics centre in Örebro and to begin an expansion of 6,500 square metres in 2027. The investment creates long-term expansion opportunities and strengthens Örebro’s role as a Nordic logistics hub for Alligo.

The new land comprises approximately 40,000 square metres and enables a step-by-step expansion of the logistics operations in line with the Group’s future growth and increasing customer needs.
In an initial phase, an expansion of approximately 6,500 square metres is planned, adding to the existing 28,000 square metres. The ambition is to begin the first expansion phase during 2027.

We have had our eyes on this land for several years, and it is pleasing that we can now move forward with the acquisition. The new land is an important investment that future-proofs Alligo and enables continued highly efficient logistics, says Clein Ullenvik, President and CEO of Alligo.

The expansion strengthens capacity and creates a flexible logistics solution that ensures reliable deliveries for Alligo’s customers.

The investment provides us with capacity and future flexibility to grow step-by-step line with Alligo’s development, while at the same time continuing to deliver a high level of service to our customers, says Pontus Glasberg, Head of Logistics at Alligo.

Over recent years, Örebro has developed into an increasingly important hub for Alligo’s logistics flows in the Nordic region. Through the investment, Örebro’s role as the Group’s Nordic logistics hub is strengthened.

The acquisition is subject to final regulatory approvals.
