Karin Thurberg has held leading management roles in global technology companies, including Director of Radio Access within Huawei and various business driving roles within Ericsson. Her most recent role was serving as Chief Product Officer at JonDeTech Sensors. Karin holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an Executive MBA from Uppsala University.

Karin takes up her role in August. Acuvi's current CTO, Mikko Vähäsöyrinki, will shift his focus to the role of Business Area Manager for Life Science Instrumentations and he will also continue to serve on the Acuvi management team.
